If you have the money to purchase something outright, go for it.
Complete Wi-Fi provides the equipment from the outset without needing to purchase them, BT will also offer support for complete wi-fi, 3rd party systems won't get support and complete wi-fi also comes with a generous £100 guarantee.
Do what works best for you and your needs 🙂
Hello,
I also have a similar question regarding the £30 charge for not returning WIFI discs but this time I have down graded from Halo 3 to Fibre 2. Fibre 2 and Halo 3 both use BT Smart Hub 2 so there is no problem with hardware compatibility. I have looked for the BT Products terms and conditions but cant find the relevant term, only the reference to the £30 charge for not returning discs.
Will the disc continue to work indefinitely?
Is the £30 payment all I will need to make to keep the disc?
If you reply to these questions please can you verify your authority on the subject and also point me in the direction of the correct policy that covers these terms?
Many thanks,
NAD
how did you down grade from Halo 3 to Fibre 2 as i want to do the same
At the end of your contact you tell BT you want to downgrade. Simple. Just done it myself and saved myself almost £20 per month from ditching Halo 2. I'm still deciding whether to return the disc or pay the £30 "fine".
