Can someone clarify?

I understand that as an existing BTBB customer if I want to watch BTSport through the sky platform or through BT TV I would need to take out a new 12 month contract.

But what if I just want to view the channels using the online player/mobile app?

It isn't clear whether this requires a new contract or not.

"Already have BT Broadband?

BT Sport is free! This is how you get it

BT Broadband customers

BT Sport launches on 1st August. From this day, you can access the online player at BTSport.com. Or download the BT Sport app from your app store to get BT Sport on the move.

Use your My BT login details to activate your access, then sit back and enjoy the action.

Not got a My BT login? Set up a My BT account now "

The wording above implies to me that a new contract isn't needed and will be available to current customers when its available.

Am I correct?
