Its fine from Bluemail on my tablet but I can't send email from Thunderbird on my Win10 laptop.
I changed my password the other day and this is the first time I have tried to send email since so I guess that's the prime suspect but I can't see how to address it. I'm receiving email fine.
When I cancel the "Sending email" dialogue I get the following message.
"The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.btinternet.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again."
Any advice please?
Thanks.

Thunderbird is a bit strange how it deals with passwords for mail accounts. Did you change the SMTP password as well as the IMAP/POP3 password?
Tools > Options > Privacy and security > Saved passwords
No I didn't. Found it now and sorted.
Thanks.
