When I go to the manage email page, it shows my BT id and says ceased account. This is not the case as I am with BT Halo. I am unable to access any email settings and keep getting a message that my password has expired even though I have only just changed it. I tried the online help with no success and had no joy with telephone support. What started this off was an email from BT saying that another email address, which I know I created about a year ago was about to expire, but there is no sign of this address on my account and the helpdesk said it doesn't exist, although, according to BT's email it remains valid until April.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I recently moved to a new house and that may have something to do with it, but last September I also had a billing issue when they charged me a new connection fee and put me on an absurdly high tariff. This was corrected quickly but is there some hangover from appears to have been a major system error?

Hi @mikeo999 thanks for posting, that's not good. Your email and BT ID is probably associated with one of the previous account numbers that you've had. I'll send you a private message so you can get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
