Can't activate sport app due to previous BT account retaining phone number
I'm on an Infinity contract and when trying to activate the BT Sport app I get error ref# CON-0003. On speaking with faults they say it's because my number has previously been part of fibre to the premises trials (firstly business then home) and the number hasn't been released by one or the other of them. My contacts for the trials are discontinued so I don't know where to start. I'd be glad for suggestions on how to can get my number released so that I can activate this app.
