Unfortunately I can't pay my bill on time this month. I am a student and my loan dates have changed. I have tried phoning BT up and going through to the automated bill date changer but it said that I cannot do this and hung up.
Is there no way I can change the date of my bill at all? What will happen if there is not enough money in my account?
If you have no money in your account, bank charges will kick in. See your bank to arrange an overdraft facility to avoid this.
Please do follow the advice already given. I assume you're paying by Direct Debit, in which case be aware that you cannot change the date if you pay the whole bill, only if you're on Monthly Payment Plan (same amount each month with 6-monthly reviews).
