Can't change BTHome Hub IP Address

Hi Guys,

I'm new to BT Broadband and still getting to grips with the BTHH interface.

I need to change the IP and Gateway address of my BTHH to 192.168.0.x but it says that address range isn't allowed.

Any idea why please?
I've got equipment on my network that runs on the 0.x range and would rather change the BTHH address to match than change the 126 devices to the 1.x range.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Can't change BTHome Hub IP Address

Hi and welcome!

Good luck with changing the address; BT 'fixed' it so that the hub's IP couldn't be amended.

I don't use a Homehub but this link may help?

Hi,

You can change it from the advanced settings of the Hub

@gavaskarss

Yes you can but no you can't.

It says you can't change the IP to range 192.168.0.x
