Can' t connect BT Advanced Digital Home Phone to Asus RT-AC86U

hi all,

I'm trying to setup my new BT Advanced Digital Home Phone but for the life of me i cannot figure out how to set it up on my Asus RT-AC86U router. it has options for WPS etc but it just wont pick anything up when trying to pair.

 

Any help with this would be appreciated as i currently cannot use my phone and have no intention of using the BT hub.

The BT digital phone connects with Dect not wifi hence why it connects to hub which is a dect base station and your Asus is not

thanks for that, couldn't find any info about that anywhere. can you get boxes that just handle dect or do you need get a router that is compatible?

You only option is to use the BT supplied Smart Hub 2, as that has the built in base station.
