@Keith_Beddoe ok so how should I proceed now? I'm very confused. I would like to keep a landline if possible.

You should be able to place your broadband order, and at some point during the order progress, you should be asked whether you want a phone line.
I cannot suggest anything more, perhaps @-Richie- may be able to suggest a way forward?
@Ryanm353 you can call the sales team if you wish to retain the same number, you can order via BT.com if you're happy to be given a new number.
You can select to have voice calls or none during any order journey, you'll need to choose one of the 3 calling plans :
Pay As You Go (PAYG)
700 minutes
Unlimited minutes
@-Richie- ok so when I apply online, when it asks if I currently pay for a landline I can select no (even though I do with sky) and then I would be given a new phone number? Phone number isn't really a big deal for me . And then BT would take over the switch? Just wanted to clarify. Thanks!
Is someone able to clarify the above for me please before I proceed any further @-Richie- @Keith_Beddoe
Thanks 🙂

Yes, that is correct, if you put yes it would ask for the current number which is causing the issues, select no and BT will assign you a new number.
