My service is back up and running. I wonder if we will be getting some sort of compersation for the loss???????????????????? We wasnt told about the fault and we was not told about the fix either!!!!!

Mine is back up, too. 

 

I don't think I realised everyone was still so wedded to SMS.  Gosh, however did we all manage in the olden days. 

 

Yup, technology does go wrong sometimes.

BT did post the system failure on Twitter and as previous posters have referred, the service page has also been kept updated.

imessage....don't have a clue what that is but i suspect something to do with Apple ??

 

SMS is still what a lot of us use to converse with people 🙂

I agree why should we have to rely on Twitter when bt have our email addresses and the service status page wasn't kept updated they just kept changing the fix times with no explanation as to what is taking so long I for one will be sending in a complaint.
