Can you cancal or change you BT landline add ons like 1571 halfway though your BT contracts

We dont use landline much to make calls and only once in a while someone will leave a voicemail on the landline, like the GP for dad or someone for me but 9 times out of 10 they will phone me or me sisters mobile now as dad has in the last few years starting to go partly deaf and dont alway keep to well once in a while so he dont use landline much now to make calls are answer phone.

I now manly only use landline as a back up or to phone BT on the free 0800 number.

I only as ask as I see 1571 service is now £3 something and its now only used once in a while.

I even hardly use the voicemail service on my mobile as for some reason voicemail is not included in my free monthly call mins,

Yes you can cancel 1571 at any time with 30 days notice, It won't alter your contract, you won't incur any penalty, 1571 is simply an addon, as with all addons you can add them when you need them, remove them when you don't.

When you do contact BT, It might also be worth asking for an account review, see what best suits your needs based on your history like amount of calls you make, when you make them, just ring 150 from your BT landline or 0800 800 150 from any other network, ask for the Value team or the Loyalty team.
