Can you help me remove my BT ID please?

Hello

I have an old, inactive BT ID under a specific email address.  This particular account is now closed  as the house it was connected to was sold on to someone.  But i can't find anywhere in the account that allows me to cancel this BT ID and disconnect it from my email address.  I just want to close down the ID.  Can anyone help if possible?

Welcome to the BT Community and thanks for your post.

Sorry for the problems you're having cancelling that BT ID.  Have a chat with a colleague in the helpdesk who'll be able to remove it for you.  You can reach them on 0800 800 150.

Thanks - i called and they were able to remove that BT ID (and crucially keep my current home one! 🙂  )
