Ring 150 on your landline phone, and ask to cancel the visit.
Try 0800 800 150.
Its always best to have a cheap landline phone, as its needed for fault findiing, and the lack of a phone can afect your broadband connection speed.
It could save you a £130 callout charge if a fault turns out to be within your home.

Thanks for your time. I am on my way out not to purchase a landline phone.
In the mean time I have cancelled the engineer over live chat. Is this definitely cancelled now or should I ring too when I have the phone?
