Ring 150 on your landline phone, and ask to cancel the visit.
Try 0800 800 150.
Its always best to have a cheap landline phone, as its needed for fault findiing, and the lack of a phone can afect your broadband connection speed.
It could save you a £130 callout charge if a fault turns out to be within your home.
Hi @Cerihoppo and thanks for posting.
I can make sure the engineer visit has been cancelled for you. Drop me over an email with the details and I'll check that for you. You'll get the contact the moderators link in my profile.
Thanks for your time. I am on my way out not to purchase a landline phone.
In the mean time I have cancelled the engineer over live chat. Is this definitely cancelled now or should I ring too when I have the phone?
