Thanks, I think that term 59 covers this case. The email offers a 30 day get out window, which I doubt they would do if it wasn't deemed necessary.
I'll have a look again through the other threads. I did look but couldn't find anything definitive. My concern is I keep the box and get charged at some point down the road.
I was just six weeks into my TV contract when Fox disappeared. Complained, and they cancelled the contract and asked for the box back - fair enough. However, I paid a £49 equipment charge. I phoned to see if I would get it refunded, or at least the prorated value, but was told no. Raised a complaint, waiting for callback in two days.
I don't care about the box. But given it's equipment that I'm returning, and it was a equipment charge...
