If I order a sim only and find I have trouble getting a good signal in my house (as I did with ID mobile) will I be able to cancel early without being charged for the 12 months? I am currently using EE top-up which has excellent signal so I'm hoping there will be no change seeing as BT uses EE.

Can you check the time perioid covered by these charges. It may be that the first month was just short of the month and the first bill has that plus the full rcost of the next month (in advance).
