Cannot activate my BT Sport account with new Sky Box

Hi,

 

I have moved house and have a new Sky box (and new viewing card number) that I am trying to sync with my BT Sports Account.

 

I tried to do this using the online tool, but it gave the error message 'cannot find Sky viewing card'

 

I have had 3 calls with varioud BT suport desk workers, including one with the technical team in India. The only suggestion was that the address of the account may not match the Sky account address. I have confirmed the address with Sky and repeated it back to BT peopl over the phone, and it is still showing as 'viewing card not matching'.

 

I don't think any more calls with support workers is going to help. 

 

Would be really grateful if anyone has a solution for this. If it isn't resolved, I'm basically going to be foreced to cancel my BT subscription, which would be really annoying.

Hi @sdunsm I called earlier and left a brief voicemail message. 

 

I can see that an offline team were working on your account just after you contacted us and I wanted to check if you still require our assistance with activating the BT Sport or has the issue been resolved.

I'm sorry this isn't sorted yet. I can see @JohnC2 emailed you on the 29/11. If you can reply to that he will pick up from there. He's back in the office tomorrow so I'll let him know you've posted.

I'm sorry that the service is still not working for you. For me to move the service over I need some more information from you. Please can you reply to my email of the 29th with the requested information and I will be able to get this fixed for you.

Thanks for following up! Apologies I missed your call again, it's difficult to respond at short notice during work hours. 

 

Unfortunately I didn't recieve an email from you on Nov 29th. The only emails I have are notifications of posts on this forum.

 

Is there an alternative way to get in contact please?

Hi @sdunsm I have not received a reply with the information I need to get this set up for you.

Do you still need help getting the BT Sport set up? Or have you managed to get this sorted via another avenue?
