Cannot connect BT Powerline extender to router

I purchased the BT 600 mini powerline extender and connected the first unit to my BT HUB6 - 25R3 port 1 but the router does not detect the extender and the extender is not displayed in the BT smart hub manager.

Probably won't do, in theory they don't exist, they are just a part of an Ethernet lead to all intents and purposes. Do the extenders work OK?

I solved the problem, i pushed the connect button for 20 seconds and the router has now identified the extenders and anything connected to the extenders.

Interesting, my wifi hotspot 500s don't show up in the hub network map but connected devices do.

Hi I had the same problem my bt powerline 600 adapter was working fine for 6 months that it stop working I reset several times and link adapter still did not work after thinking about it and I opened the bt powerline 600 adapter and found the micro controller was overheating readings at 60 degrees Celsiusl and I got heat sink and carefully installed on the micro contoler on both adapters and its 2 weeks the power line adapters are working fine with no problems
