Hi, Welcome to the gang. So many of us are going through what you are describing except we need to change our password sometimes 5 times a day. They are having server problems, but the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing in their server teams it appears.
Here are other threads about the same issue, just don't get sucked into the rabbit hole of listening to tier 1 & 2 trying every stupid thing imaginable to make you jump through hoops to try to fix it. It is a server issue and it's a nightmare for many of us.
