BT Customer experience survey
Using HH3 router as a back-up, and it now requires me to change away from the default password. This contains a "d", which BT now say they never do, so I won't accept the admin password....

Never heard of that one, you can use any normal letter or number. Try a full factory reset using the recessed button.
Try a different web browser, as that may be the problem.
If all else fails, then the HH3 is faulty.

I'd have to agree with @Keith_Beddoe here. If a factory reset doesn't work then it's more than likely faulty. Can you try that and let us know how you get on?
