Re: Cannot upgrade online to Full Fibre 900

Looks like it’s slowly being pulled back off the website now, it’s there but no longer available in your area.

Same for me.  Although something strange is going on because now when I put in my postcode, it doesn't even show me the package I am currently on as being an option (Ultrafast Fibre 250).  In fact now I don't have any Ultrafast options in my area apparently.

Re: Cannot upgrade online to Full Fibre 900

Yeah definitely some weird stuff going on with the website. Yesterday when I checked, it was being offered the 500 and 900 (new build, had FTTP for over 2 years, currently on the Halo 250 package).

Like others, I tried to upgrade online but it got so far then told me I couldn't as I was an existing customer (when I was with Virgin cable, upgrading was so easy compared to this!)

So I called them, the guy I spoke to couldn't upgrade me so transferred me to offline sales. She told me the fastest I could get was what I was already on.

Today checking the BT website, it now says the fastest I can get is Fibre 2 (74Mb)! I called them again, the lady I spoke to refused to transfer me to Sales Support and told me the same as before, I was already on the fastest I could get.

Re: Cannot upgrade online to Full Fibre 900

Yeah I have the same issue the bt website says I can only get up to 100 meg and not on a full fibre line but I know I am as I get the max 330 to 50 meg up when no one else uses the web and I am close to my exchange  the  open reach site say lucky you you are on a full fibre line that offer speeds of up to 1gig  unless bt or open reach hasn't turn it on yet  also I am paying the same price for the 300 package as it the same price as the new 1gig  so i dont see how that is correct since my contract is finished

We got to call them back today 🤞🤞

It’s the same for me, it said I could upgrade to the 900 early in the week. Now it says it’s not available anymore. We only got full fibre at the end of last year so all the kit must be in place for the 900 package.

Re: Cannot upgrade online to Full Fibre 900

I don't think much will happen until the bigger issues we're currently facing are behind us! 🙂  I will keep checking the site but right now everything still shows me as having access to 900... except if I talk to BT or try and upgrade online.  The openreach checker for my postcode also confirms speeds up to gigabit so its not like Openreach disagree....

The ADSL checker doesn't work for me because it doesn't recognise my phone number (for whatever strange reason, maybe because we've never had copper here?).

Re: Cannot upgrade online to Full Fibre 900

The BT broadband checker was offering me Full Fibre 900 & Full Fibre 500 yesterday and the day but now it is not. My line is exchange only ie no FTTC and last time I checked a few years ago the best I could get was 12mb adsl.

BT website offering 78meg full fibre now. Have they removed the offer due to coronavirus?

Now the checker says FTTP is not available at my address when I already have it. I suspect because of the virus they are restricting the high speed products to cope with the increased home worker load.

Hmm, wish I had taken the first guy's offer of £7 more than I pay now and argued about it later, at least I'd have been on 900 by what I imagine is a slider tab on my account page.
