It not showing on there either but on the upgrade broadband when we logged in to the account it said we could upgrade but it wouldn't go through because we was already a customer and now the new packages have gone completely from the bt site once this is covid is out of the way we need to call the engineer again maybe we can get it installed any one know how much it would cost ?open reach says I'm on a network capable of up to one gig speeds and bt say I can only get 70 meg and not on a full fibre line but I know I am i think bt screwed everything up if there was more isps where I can get faster speeds I would leave bt
Any updates @SeanD ?
Yup, me too, I'm now into a zone where I can give my notice - should I stay or should I go (now)? What am I to be charged when the contract ends? Do I get my price reduced as I shouldn't be charged more than a new customer? I assume I will be on a 30 day rolling contract.
Without hanging about on hold for hours on end trying to elicit a response how am I to know?
Although I think 24 month contracts are ever so slightly naughty, I am willing, if the price is right, to sign up for that time for 900Mb...
@Caper You may have to stay as the new provider probably won't be able to process a new customer FTTP installation.
I don't think anyone knows what actually happens when your contract expires. In theory according to how BT sold Halo you don't seem to need to recontract as you should continue to pay the same amount even if on a rolling monthly contract. Not sure about being charged the same as a new customer because the products may have been pulled owing to embargo on new installations and the wording relating to new packages may have changed so that you aren't comparing like for like.
Same boat here too. I'm on fibre 250 and it popped up for a day that I could get fibre 900 and now it says no fibre at all. I'm in a 1 year old new build so i'm almost certain it's just a flick on their end.
It seems that full fibre upgrades are back online. Was just able to place an order for fibre 900
Currently on fibre 2 fttp. To get this offer I had to sign in to my BT and click on upgrade broadband to get upgrade offers
Damn, it says it can't show me any personalised offers right now...
Same for me... From initially creating my account it has always said can't show me any personalised offers right now. Ringing the FTTP team they are still unable to upgrade to fibre 900 despite it showing as available again for my address.
I just called the FTTP team and they were able to put this through for me. The person I spoke with did put me on hold for 5 minutes whilst they looked into it, but the upgrade has gone through now over the phone to 900mb.
@andrewmc121 just wondering how much you are now paying per month for the 900? What number did the business for you?
I am the same as other posters - my homepage has never been able to show me ANY personalised offers!
