Jeezo, that's a great price. I am sooooo annoyed - paying £54.99 for 300 all I keep getting is that the £61.99 is "the only price" for the 900.
I think I'll just hold fire until others launch and see what the prices are if I can't be offered what others are getting.
At least you getting some sense out of them, ive phoned twice and both times they say it needs an engineer regardless what I say, ive given up, mine was a new install last Friday, I had ordered FF 250 before the new speeds came along, so its still a massive boost even at 310Mbps but there is something better so I want it. I'll wait for the dust to settle.
Yes sorry that is for just fibre with no halo, my house is hard wired and I have Another mesh network for the rest.
Halo is not the same as whole home wifi. Halo gives you mini hub if broadband goes down etc..
my £57.63 was for Full Fibre 900 Halo
I was already on Halo, and don’t think they allow you to drop it if I’m contract
Still no response or acknowledged from BT on the appearance/disappearance of 900mb full fibre (for those that do not need an engineer)? Any clarification on these random prices? @SeanD
Great customer service lads, provider of the year here.
If I didn’t move property I would have stayed on Hyperoptic and not had any of this headache. 1GB (Not 900mb download or the **bleep** upload from BT) for £45, great customer service without ringing up having these call centre analysts telling you different things
Guy on the value team told me there was nothing on his system for vanilla 900 - only 900 halo and the 900 whole house wifi.
Hopefully things will become clearer before too long.
I don't have FTTP but will say this about the Options/Value team - They are very hit and miss and do seem to be able to see different deals dependent purely on whom you are talking to. You have to politely badger them and even insist on getting things referred to their manager. I have had operatives stating they can't give any discount to those who listen to what I want to pay and finally come back after speaking to a manager agreeing to a price within 50p of what I wanted. Things could be different with FTTP but if one person gets a certain price aim for that , tell them it's what people on this forum have been offered and get it referred higher up and if they can't/wont politely hang up and try again.
Hey I'm glad its now working for some of you guys it must be something with when you search via openreach, It says latest test date in the small print of the day on DSLChecker, I eneded up buying it at that price of £74 on the website Full Fibre 900 with Halo 1 - Complete Wi-Fi, My mom uses the Wifi part on her phone at her home so i dont mind paying the extra for it, I guess they only show the 2 since I i'm mid contract with them and I allready have those addons, I know I should have phoned them and try and get a better deal but I could not be bothered to wait and the option disappear on me and long que times are like 1-2 hours, Hopefully my activation date is th 9th so I'm staying up until about 1 am tonight in hope to catch it updating to test it out, I will post my Speeds and stuff soon as I can on here.
Bump any update @SeanD ??
