Im using XP with SP3 installed Silverlight is installed and works on test site
Using Chrome and IE
BT offshore help line took a look and gave up

What internet connection are you using- BT WiFi, BT Fon, Ethernet or Home Hub? I use Firefox on XP SP3 with no problems using Home Hub Secure Wi Fi
