I signed up to a BT Broadband Package offer via the moneysavingexpert.com website because it was advertised as having a £100 Reward Card plus £50 Cashback Cheque as part of the deal which made it the most attractive one available at the time.
When my service went live on the 3rd October 2017, I submitted my claims for both the Reward Card and the £50 cashback cheque. The Reward Card arrived several weeks ago, hovever, the cheques hasn't arrived. This seems to be a regular theme on the BT Community Forum so I chased this up today by contacting a customer service representative via the live chat facility on the BT website.
I have just got the following reply via email:
As per your mentioned request I have checked the order () and found that with reference to order date 01/09/2017 there was no offer running on that day for Cashback cheque.
Hence we will not be able to honour the claim for the Cashback cheque.

Did you claim fall in one of the qualifying periods?
The cashback offer I signed up to must have been the £40 cashback cheque with uSwitch and their partners for new broadband orders. I placed my order on the 31/08/2017, not the 01/09/2017 as Debasmita from theBT.com Vouchers Team stated in the email. I have the confirmation email from BT to prove this. BT seem to deliberately make claiming cashback difficult to avoid paying it out to customers.
I'm already unhappy with the service provided by BT since I switched provider. My broadband connection did not actually go live until 03/10/2017 due to technical problems so I was without broadband for 2 weeks following the switch from Sky to BT. This caused a great deal of inconvenience and additional expense because I had to use my mobile phone as a wireless access point in order to get internet access at home.
