Just been checking my Ethernet cables and can see on of them is damaged so thinking of replacing all of them with the newer cat 5e or cat 6 ? I have the new HH6 so can anyone tell me which would be the best cable to go with ?
I guess it's not something one tends to look at and most of my cables will be over very old so thought i would replace all of them. I think the newer one i have that connects my Youview box is a cat 5e so should i just stick with that type? Also what about sheilded ? Thanks.

Unless you are needing to move a lot of data at high speed, Cat5e will be good enough.
yes Cat 5e is plenty good enough i had it installed in my house last week and its fantastic and stable 🙂
