I rarely used my BT email address (provided when I switched from dial-up to broadband 12 years ago) and never created any sub-accounts. Recently I've discovered that my only account has been deleted after being inactive for a period extending 90 days.
I've tried to log-in to MyBT (again, rarely in use) but couldn't remember the password or answer the confounding security question ('What was the name of your first childhood pet' - I don't recall choosing this or why as we never had any pets...). The only other alternative is to send a reset password to the deleted email address, and we're back at square one.
I've tried speaking with tech support through Live Chat but the reset password he gave me drew a blank, and locked me out of the account after too many failed attempts.
