Change Phone number

Hi. 

I want to add Broadband to my existing BT account. I have a landline with BT that I never use but want to switch the number to the one I use that's with another provider. How can I do this?

That is not possible, if the number is owned by the other provider. If it was originally a BT number that you ported to them, then it may be possible to get it back, once its ceased by the other provider.
