Hello. It's my first time posting here. hopefully someone can help me with my problem.
I was with Plusnet last year connected happily with ADSL 2+. I switched to BT and I have been put back on ADSL. I have phoned them for over 2 hours and nobody has any idea of what my problem is. Its so frustrating!
Some details that may help:
When I force a connection using ADSL 2+ it will never connect. Having the router in either auto or 2+ mode would connect before i changed to BT.
Does anyone know what I can do to get my ADSL 2+ back again?

I think you were put on adslmax by wholesale as your estimated speed is well below the adslmax but your actual connection speed is great and way above that expected and you would benefit slightly from adsl2 speed
I have asked mod to see if that can help you and they will post here
Thats great. Thank you! 🙂

@alandrumo thanks for sending over your details, I called there but missed you. I wanted to let you know that I've managed to place a request with our suppliers BT Wholesale to get you put on an ADSL2+ profile. This will complete overnight tomorrow so you should notice an improvement in your upload speed by Tuesday.
Thats amazing! Thank you so much!
After being on the phone to about 7 people for almost 2 hours I wish I just posted here first.
Sorry I missed your call. It means a lot to me that you tried to call after I was let down on the phone.
Faith in BT restored
Regards, Alan
Hi @alandrumo
Neil has finished for the day he's back in the office on Tuesday.
Please post back on Tuesday to let us know if the changes have taken effect.
I've emailed Neil your kind comments.
Cheers

@alandrumo No problem at all I'm happy to help and thanks for your kind comment. I've tested the connection this morning and can see an improvement on both the download and upload speeds. Can you post back to let me know if you're happy this is now resolved?
