Changes to mail log-in

Is it possible to pin the updated log-in for bt mail to my desk top to get direct access ??  Still have the BT yahoo icon loaded from disc when originally set up ages ago so now have to go round in circles to access mail.

Tried and failed to find a short cut but assume someone more computer competent will know a way.

Many thanks

Re: Changes to mail log-in

Open this log on page

https://signin1.bt.com/login/emailloginform

Go to the address bar at the top and right click on it. Press copy.

Now got to your desk top. Right click and scroll down to "New" > Shortcut.

In the location box right click > paste.

Click Next and name the short cut Email or what ever name you want.

Finish.

This should gie you a short cut to the log on page.

Re: Changes to mail log-in

What I did which seems to work is once I had the sign in screen up copied the information on the address bar (usually top right but deppends on browser)

I then whent to the desk top and right click anywhere then select new shortcut you can then paste the copied information into the box that appears and save. The shorcut is then on your desktop.

I also as this was quicker once the sign on screen was up added it to the favourites bar so that it is always there at the top of my browser.

Hope this helps

Re: Changes to mail log-in

if that doesn't work (I must have fouled it up when I tried!) save it to your favourites (the star on Win7), right click that entry, press copy, click on desktop and right click to paste it there.

Re: Changes to mail log-in

Or right click on this link and press copy shortcut

https://signin1.bt.com/login/emailloginform

Then on your desk top right click and scroll down to paste shortcut.

There are no doubt other ways to put the shortcut there. Just pick the method that you are happy using.
