Hi I've recently moved to a new house and the connection speed is terrible and unreliable. I've noticed that we are only on ADSL not ADSL 2+. The results from the DSL test show that this is available on our cabinet and should be much quicker than we currently have. Would it be possible to be moved onto ADSL 2+ at least to try it.
Thank you.

Thanks Keith for bringing it to their attention and for the quick reply
There is something wrong either with the estimate from dslchecker of the attenuation shown by the router which at 57db would only give adsl2 speed of about 3.5mb
are you using the test socket with a filter
Hi,
Yes it's connected directly to the test socket with a filter.
Sadly even a adsl2 speed of 3.5Mb would be alot better that we get now. It barely gets to 1Mb
Do you get dial tone on your phone, and is the line quiet?
Yes to both
Your router shows a connection speed of 2mb not 1mb. The 3.5mb I mentioned is connection speed not download speed
Ok didn't realise there was a difference between download and connection speed. The 1Mb was from the bt speedtest website, it is currently showing 1.01 with the router saying connection speed of 1.3
You can see the data rate of 2mb in hub stats.
