Yes I've seen that now. Would changing onto the ADSL 2+ still help with getting this speed up abit? Or help improving the reliablity of the connection

The checker looks wrong so based on attenuation you may get about 3mb down speed but no way to tell until connected to adsl2.  It would increase your up speed by about 100%

 

if you have any line problems then adsl2 could be less stable

Thanks and fair enough. It's probably worth trying anyway if the process is not too difficult.
