Changing pass codes to access broadband

I've got BT Home Hub 4. Can I change, or can BT change, the wireless key code, so that I can start again with who I allow to access my broadband? I've found BT info. on changing the Admin Password, but that alone wouldn't do it would it? (If someone had my original wireless key code they could still connect could the not?)

Will appreciate any advice.

Yes you can change it.

If you do change it remember to keep a note of it in case you forget it. If you do forget it you need to do a factory reset of the homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds. This will restore the wireless passkey back to the one on the label on the homehub.

Re: Changing pass codes to access broadband

Thanks for your input. Can't get it to work for me. I have a Mac OS-X. On step 3 ( of the BT reference you gave) there is no "airport", and on step 4, when I highlight my hub, there is no edit function icon avilable so the process grinds to a halt. I'm not brilliant at this as you might guess - any thoughts on how to get round this?

Re: Changing pass codes to access broadband

I don't have a MAC but I think it should be a case of clicking on this link

which will take you to the homehub management page. Go to Advance settings > Wireless setup > and you should be able to change the wireless passkey. Once you have changed it, if you are connected by wireless you will be disconnected and you will need to sign back on with the new wireless passkey.
