Recent visit to USA using an i phone 6S - did not turn on mobile data and, consequently, data roaming, but on return a charge appeared on our bill for 0.01 mg data every day. The total cost was small (less than £1), and BT have credited my account without arguement, but no one seems able to explain how this can happen. If 0.01 mg can be charged in these circumstances how can I be sure a much larger charge won.’t suddenly appear on my bill on my next trip abroad?
