Clarity on kit return

I'm hoping someone can provide some clarity on kit return when you leave BT?

All of the kit I have received arrived prior to the 13th December 2019, so as far as I am concerned I can do what I like with it apart from a couple of items.

Does the Complete Wi-fi disc have to be returned regardless of whether or not it was supplied prior to the 13th December (I always thought it was "rented"), and what do I do with the 4 digital voice phones that were supplied as part of the trial?

As I understand it they are supplied as part of the digital voice service and don't work on any normal landline as far as I know, but are not referenced at all on the following page which was linked to in my leaving email: How to return and recycle your BT equipment for free

Hi @stereohaven I'm sorry to see you're leaving BT.  Yes, the Complete WiFi discs have always been supplied on a loan basis so you'll need to return that to avoid the £30 charge.  If you have no use for the digital voice phones you can also return those and we'll recycle them.
