Drop outs continuing dispite the router config changes.
I emailed them this morning, waiting for a response.
I emailed the Moderator and got a response this afternoon.
He said in order to do full tests on my broadband I need to swap out my netgear router with a BT HH.
I have a BT HH v3.0 but need to configure a few things before I swap them over.
I need to configure DDNS and allow incoming DMZ services for my CCTV and Server
In the port forwarding section, there is a drop down menu that have loads of games and stuff but nothing for DMZ.
I can not find DDNS at all.
Anyone help? as I will not swap over routers until the CCTV works on the HH
Just thought I'd update where I am so far, whilst I am waiting for the moderator on here to treat this case with a bit more urgency!!!
I spent about 10 hours trying to configure the port forwarding, eventually getting access to my CCTV and Server.
I am still getting dropouts, the last one at 8.00 this morning.
BT HH 3.0 Version 22.214.171.124.126.96.36.199.3 (Type A) Firmware last updated 03/09/2011 (still waiting firmware update)
