Still happening I would have thougt the engineer reporting back would trigger a call from BT but not heard anything. BTCare almost impossible to get hold of online 😞

The Openreach engineer who visited you could do nothing as congestion issues are outside the control of Openreach and BT Retail the congestion issue will be resolved by BT Wholesale this takes time depending on the work that is needed to be carried out to increase capacity this problem will be affecting multiple providers not just BT Retail all you can do I am afraid is wait for the work to be carried out

Thanks for taking a look. I'm on Pontardulais exchange, SWPDW

BT Tech support have reset my profile but not sure why. The line speed is consistently slow each evening from between 4 and midnight. Speed is close to router sync rate all other times.

Thanks for confirming that.

 

I have had a quick look at this and I can see that there is a known issue which is down to be sorted by 23/12/2016.  Do keep us posted on here how things go.

I have checked this again today and it's still showing the date as the 23rd so nothing has changed.  Obviously we have passed that now so we will have to take your details and look at this on an individual basis.
