Hi All,
Hopefully someone can help.
I have a HomeHub4 and two Netgear AC1900 WiFi Range Extenders (EX7000).
I have a SONOS system and previously (With Virgin Media), the EX7000 was connected to the Hub and then the SONOS was connected to this EX7000. The reason I did this was to keep the SONOS separate to the Virgin network so that the children could connect to the Virgin Hub but not control the music on the SONOS system as they were on different networks.
I am trying to get this set up again but am currently failing, any help would be appreciated.
So far I have:
- Connected the HomeHub4 to broadband via BT socket.
- Connected the Ex7000 to the HomeHub4 via an ethernet cable
- Connect to the Netgear EX7000 and then goto www.mywifiext.com at which point it doesnt connect, however on the Netgear it shows a ethernet connection with the green light, when signing into HomeHub4 it shows a connection on the LAN port by no further details.
So my question is how can I set up the Netgear EX7000 as an access point with a different subnet.
Many thanks
