Connecting a Linksys X3500 to my BT Infinfty Broadband service

My Linksys X3500 worked fine on my old BT Broadband line. Now I have Infinity to the street cabinet but a copper ADSL Line to the house I cannot connect my X3500 despite the settings being identicle to the previous BT settings requirements. I have changed various options but nothing works!!!  I am at a loss as to what BT have changed since I last used the router can anyone help.

Your Linksys is an ADSL modem router. To connect to Infinity you need a VDSL modem router. There is no way to get the ADSL modem to work on VDSL.

No, you have a copper VDSL Line to the house, as gg has said, an ADSL modem/router won't work.
