The handback threshold applies to all ISPs. It basically determines the minimum speed you should get, and if the ISP can't meet it, then you can leave contract FOC. Hopefully, a mod will be along to help, as the disconnect frequency isn't normal.

Please explain then, because that's what I read.

Ah, I've written it wrong. I meant to say it's the speed at which you should get for your line length and other factors, it doesn't determine it, my bad.

Also the handback threshold is purely between Openreach and the ISP. It has no bearing on the service offered by the ISP to the customer. The ISP may take it into considerstion though.

Hmm, but if the ISP cannot meet the handback threshold, then the EU can leave contract FOC.

That is conditional and not a given.

Drop outs, obviously I only notice the ones when I am using a divice connected to the intnent so there could be much more
