Connecting my Smart TV to my home hub..

I'm trying to connect my smart Tv via a network adapter to my home hub.. the tv keeps coming back that it's failed to connect.. it gets the IP address .. gets half way through the subnet mask and then fails to give me the gateway or DNS .. can anyone help?

that is a powerline adapter - do you have the other powerline adapter paired and connected to your router?

This should help Samsung Smart TV

 

It seems a common problem with the Samsung, where automatic settings fail to work.

So did you pair the new adapter to the existing adapters before connecting tv?
