Connection dropped the DNS server isn't responding

My connection was working fine a couple of hours ago, I was watching a YouTube video then it suddenly cut out and hasn't reconnected for a few hours now. Checked the service status of my area and it says everything is working fine.

Blue, it's been blue all day but the Internet icon on the windows task bar at the bottom right of the screen has had the little yellow exclamation mark which keeps appearing and dissappearing. I've also tried turning the hub off and back.on again.

Re: Connection dropped the DNS server isn't responding

First flush any old invalid DNS entries.

If its a Windows computer you are using, then type this at the command prompt

ipconfig /flushdns

Is the computer connected to the home hub using wireless or Ethernet connection?

If its wireless, then try using a direct Ethernet cable connection.

Re: Connection dropped the DNS server isn't responding

OK successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Catch. It's connected directly by Ethernet cable.
