Connection has taken a dive

Go to solution

HH2 has dived, snr got reset was very stable at 6db then it dropped to 3db and was still stable then back to 6db for over a week stable and now its upto 12 db and my download speed is heading south.

Now this auto garb at the exchange end is getting out of hand, ive already lost 3mbps from the profile and down to 6mbps actual speed and i think it'll get worse, someone has to intervene, (if it aint broken dont fix it) so stable at 3 and 6db so why all of a sudden it should decide to rocket is beyond me.

Re: Connection has taken a dive

this looks like the result of the disconnections due to the bad filter which you had yesterday.  Like you tell eveyone else it will sort itself if you stay connected 24/7 but it may take longer than your normal 3/5 days - patienceSmiley Wink

Re: Connection has taken a dive

should wait to show stable connection before sending the form just in case you have not solved the disconnection problem.

Still if solved by the time mods reply you probably find that it has sorted itself

Re: Connection has taken a dive

Its still getting worse and is now back to what it was when adsl2+ went live on the line over 14db SNR Down, Personally i'd take the auto feature of the exchange and shoot it, because like i said if a connection is rock solid at 3db & 6db for downloading and gaming for hours on end without causing lag or sync issues then personally i think we should be able to say im stable at 6db and just leave it there through that auto-garb out.

My Opinion is my own on my own line as im the end user and its upto me to see the line stability if its not stable i'd be on here like i am now typing up that there is a problem.

Thanks for the rant!

Re: Connection has taken a dive

looks like you have a noise problem - are the filters ok or was it just the one that caused the problem?
