Hi,
I've tried a few times to get some sense out of BT customer service reps but always end up speaking to a foreign robot, who seems to lack a thorough grasp of English.
We're relatively rural here but I would like to investigate having a dedicated link or fibre installed to the premises. Online info is conflicting regarding which cabinet serves us but I believe we have fibre to the cabinet and my understanding is that FTTP should be achievable with enough dollars thrown in the right direction.
I also see that BT offer some kind of wireless provisioning for third-party ISPs, so I'm pretty sure we could even get decent broadband just by having some kind of WISP thing from the cabinet. Problem is there seems to be literally no way to contact BT to discus these things and in the past I have been directed to the "Expression of interest" page, which is no use whatsoever. After looking at various WISP providers I found we didn't have line-of-sight.
Any BT reps care to chime in or give me a phone number of an English speaking support member who might be able to discuss these options?
Thanks!

BT Retail has no control over connections, they are down to Openreach, which is why the BT call centres cannot help.
I'd recommend you contact Openreach on this link
this gives some idea of cost including annual cost https://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/products/pricing/loadProductPriceDetails.do?data=0WyIM7tTGGguc...
Thank you both! OpenReach have contacted me now and are going to be in touch again within 10 days! 🙂
