Connection to phone socket

Hi my computer is upstairs and my main phone socket is downstairs I have a socket up stairs which I have used with my previous provider can I still us this socket with a filter as I am at present

Hi @Morris118   Yes, this is exactly what I do with my FTTC (SH2).

Yes, the technology is the same whichever provider you use.
