Constant 'Wire Lan Port x down/up' messages in HH5 event log, YMV102 messages in YouView

Go to solution

I have a problem with connectivity between my YouViewBox and HH5.

Broadband is connected (and very fast), but YouView box is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting to the router. Sometimes it doesn't interrupt viewing, sometimes it breaks it all together, sometimes I get the annoying messages at the top of the screen (YVM102) and then it says it is connected again.

I did a software reset via the maintenance menu on YouView box which seems to have improved things slightly, but I'm still getting the following in the activity log on the HH5 router. The killer question is, is the router causing the disconnects for some reason, or are the disconnects originating from the YouView box.

All wireless devices connected to HH5 have good, fast connections with no issues.

I seem to be getting this issue as well. The lan down up starts late at night until early morning.
