The subject line says it all really! For some time now (months actually), our internet connection is fine all weekend but once Monday comes, it's a different story. This morning, for example, just before I left for work at 07:00 it binned out. Rebooting the router didn't help - the internet connection was still out when I left the house. I've no doubt that once I get home, the wife will moan at me yet again. Trouble is, it tends to work in the evenings so phoning BT isn't a lot of help because they say there's nothing wrong at their end. Pointless me phoning them from work because all that will happen is that they will expect me to be next to the router so they can run me through the whole pointless checking procedure yet again.
I've just done a check and this is the result
Note that the max observed downstream speed is a hell of a lot less than the downstream line rate. In fact, I have never got anywhere near the speed I'm paying for. 27 Mbps is the fastest I've measured this year but it rarely exceeds 20.
I can't provide any figures from my BT hub because I don't use it any more. It's a SmartHub 6 and proved so unreliable that I now use a TP-Link Archer VR600. Of course, this doesn't help when I try to get assistance from BT because they want the HomeHub connected.
If anybody can shed any light on this I would be most grateful.
Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.
I'll check tonight when I'm home.
can you post stats tonight from your router
Another thing I forgot to mention - out troubles started last summer after OpenReach replaced most of the telegraph poles in our area. An engineer did find a fault on our line when I reported this issue back in July and he said he switched us to an unused line. This made things better for a while and we could live with the occassional drop-out but this is getting ridiculous now and why is it always worse on weekdays between 7am and 5pm?

I'll see what I can dig out on it
You can post the stats from the VR400, as they give quite comprehensive info.

I've checked the log files on my router and every single one is empty. Very odd

This is from my VR600's Statistics page
Can't see that being of much use though
Incidentally, my wife said the internet connection has been fine all day - typical that is!!
