Contact number to clear debt and acquire MAC code

Hi,

I was late paying the bill for my phone/broadband package (I am no longer tied into a contract) and my service has now been suspended.

Is there a free phone number I can call and speak to someone in the UK to settle my account and immediately acquire a MAC code to migrate my broadband (and phone) to another provider unless of course BT can provide a cheaper package?

I definitely want to speak to someone in the UK rather than trying to make myself understood by a foreign call centre and not getting anywhere...

you could try the online chat for bill payment - link at top of board

Ring 0800 800 150 and then choose to leave BT. You can then chat with a lovely person who resides within the Queen's realm who you can understand.
