I just want to talk to find out why they cancelled my broadband order but whenever I call the 150 number it asks me for a 'BT number I would like to talk about' before I can proceed, I don't have one I have no idea what that is.
How do I talk to BT without a 'BT number I would like to talk about' and find out why my order has been cancelled, or how to order a new one (but I'd want to speak to someone beforehand so I know that order won't be cancelled too). My order reference is Ref VOL013-*********** for the order that's been cancelled.

What type of broadband connection did you order?
It says 'calls aren't available to this phone number' and this is the first time I've ordered something from BT, I've moved into a new place and wanted to use BT for broadband, so would I already have a BT number? and my order was just for regular broadband, no fibre.
