Contacting BT - not been able to make contact for three days!!! Appalling!!

I want to cancel the additional service on my account   'Choose to Refuse' but cannot contact BT. I have tried online (stops at 'Have you tried...' and gives you several phone numbers - YES I HAVE TRIED WITHOUT SUCCESS, but the screen doesn't give you any options for this). I have tried the telephone numbers and gone through numerous options, only to be told the phone lines are busy due to BTSports and BT can't deal with my call - end of contact!!

Can someone contact me please, on so I can cancel this service.

I was having the same difficulty getting through to cancel my account, so I initiated a Live Chat online (which involved about a 10 minute wait).

 

Once I got through chat to someone they called me on the phone and put me through to Customer Services. I had to wait about 5 minutes on hold but then I was able to speak to someone who could deal with my issue.
