Just been forced to "migrate" to the BT Mail app on my Lenovo tablet (Android 7.0). When I start typing the addressee's name or email into the "To" box the app does either auto-complete it offer options.
BT tech support could only suggest re-installing the app, which I've tried to no avail. Can anyone tell me why this basic capability isn't working, and how to put it right please?

Have just "migrated" to the BT email app on my Lenovo tablet. Now many of my incoming emails are arriving with the text broken at the end of every line - so one line end, for example, "happ" and the next line starts "y".
Phoned BT tech support but they say they are not aware of the problem. Can anybody help?
BT email app doesn't appear to work with the Share icon in other apps like BBC news. When I click on Share then BT Mail then mail opens but without the link auto-pasted into it. Used to work perfectly with BT Yahoo Mail.
BT tech support claim to be unaware of the problem, but I can't believe this is not affecting thousands of other users. (I'm using a Lenovo tablet and Android 7.0)
Can anybody help?
You have not been "forced" to use the BTMail app. You have chosen to download and install it. You can use any mail app you choose and I would suggest that you use anything but the BTMail app at least until it has been in operation for a while and all the snags are ironed out.
I use Aquamail on Android, There is a free version or a paid for version. For the few pounds that it costs I would recommend using the paid version but you can obviously try it out on the free version first.
I have moved your posts onto the same thread because they are all related to the BTMail app that you have installed.
I have already suggested not using the BTMail app in one of your posts and I would suggest the same for your other posts.
